Apple donating $5 per Apple Store purchase made with Apple Pay for World AIDS Day

Apple customers using Apple Pay to purchase goods via its retail outlets will trigger a donation to The Global Fund, as part of a donation campaign ahead of World AIDS Day.

Every year, Apple marks World AIDS Day on December 1 with (PRODUCT)RED window displays and promotion of related books. To go with that effort, Apple also holds a donation drive, based on customer purchases.

Running from November 29 to December 8, Apple will be donating $5 for purchases made using Apple Pay via its website, Apple Stores, and the Apple Store app. The donations are capped at $3 million for 2024, triple the cap of the 2023 effort.
