Going Dutch Exclusive Sneak Peek: Katya Meets a Genuine American Weirdo

What does a base without any real purpose do to pass the time? Well, engage in the local hobbies, of course.

In Going Dutch Season 1 Episode 4, “Korfball,” a Korfball match is the talk of the town.

A friendly (or not-so-friendly) competition develops when the Americans and the Dutch create teams, and Colonel Quinn(Denis Leary) decides this is his one chance to one-up the Dutch.

His daughter, Captain Quinn (Taylor Misiak), also sees this as an opportunity to impress her father, so she brings out her high school alter-ego, The Rocket.

Meanwhile, Colonel Quinn’s relationship with the town’s brothel owner is heating up quickly, and she visits him at the base, where talk of the Korfball match comes up.

TV Fanatic is excited to exclusively debut Katya’s (Catherine Tate) foray into possibly the weirdest military base in the world.

She experiences first-hand what the base has to offer when she meets Corporal Papadakis (Hal Cumpston) and is impressed by the sheer weirdness exhibited.

The YouTube video below begins with an interaction between Katya and Papadakis.

“I was not expecting to find a genuine American weirdo,” Katya tells Papadakis, who can’t stand straight in her presence, as he ogles at her in a manner that would make anyone uncomfortable.

“I was walking around a mall, really high, recruiter waves me in, tells me you can vape in the army, which was a damn lie, and wham bam Corporal Papadakis, future American hero, and I believe age is nothing but just a number,” Papadakis responds without catching his breath.

He tries to flirt with Katya, but she rebuffs him because she’s here to see The Colonel, and his weirdness is not a turn-on.

Colonel Quinn arrives in the nick of time and saves her from Papadakis, who probably goes to sleep the rest of his day off.

Katya brings up the Korfball match and manages to elicit some excitement from The Colonel by insinuating that it’ll be fun for him to lose.

His competitive spirit cannot let that happen, and he promises to thrash the Dutch.

However, there is some immediate business since Katya did not come to the base to sightsee.

Their relationship seems to have grown quite quickly since they skip the pleasantries and jump into the main act: sex.
