NCIS Season 22 Episode 11 Spoilers: Wedding Bells Are Ringing!

NCIS is no stranger to switching things up on a dime, and NCIS Season 22 Episode 11 sounds like a change of pace.

The long-running procedural returned from its holiday hiatus last week and put the gang through the wringer as they tried to help someone close to Parker.

We also got a much-needed insight into Torres’ secret romance, so it was worth the long hiatus.

Something about the next episode, airing Monday, February 3, leads me to believe we’re in for a vintage hour that will emphasize the comedy.

NCIS excels when it uses sensitive storylines to allow the characters to show softer sides to them.

The humor has been a big part of the show’s success and why it’s endured despite so much cast turnover throughout the years.

Who’s Getting Married on NCIS Season 22 Episode 11?

Let’s get back to what’s about to happen on NCIS Season 22 Episode 11 because it’s sure to have many fans.

  • The Rookie Season 7 Episode 4 Review: Is the New Rookie the Copycat Killer?!
  • The Irrational Season 2 Episode 10 Did A Deep Dive Into The Nature Of Trauma, And I’m Here For It

CBS is mostly staying tight-lipped about the hour, aside from the following tease:

NCIS stages a fake wedding for two of its own in an attempt to take down the mob.

That’s right, folks. The installment will feature nuptials for two characters.

Even though it’s fake, a wedding is always a good time to bring most of the characters back to the forefront.

The big question, though, is who the heck is getting faux married?

Knight will be one part of the duo at the altar because she’s the only female team member who often goes out in the field nowadays.

But who will be joining her? That’s up for debate, but wouldn’t it be fun if Parker joined her at this fake shindig?

We’ve already broached uncharted territory by discussing how Knight and Parker could be an NCIS romance for the ages.

While we doubt the series will ever travel in that direction, we urge the creatives to consider it.

Gary Cole and Katrina Law have done a great job in these roles, and their scenes together are some of the show’s most special ones.

Torres Is Headed Undercover on NCIS Season 22 Episode 11

The official promo for the episode is as vague as it gets, save for Torres seemingly going undercover.

He’s talented and unafraid of the deadliest situations, so immersing himself in the mob should be easy for him.

  • Why Will and Angie’s Separation is the Best Thing to Happen to Will Trent
  • What’s Going to Happen to Kathy Bates’s Madeline Matlock Once the Big Secret Comes Out?
  • NCIS: Origins’ Austin Stowell Embodies a Younger, Taller Gibbs (With a Chiseled Chin That Can Cut Glass). Why Isn’t That Enough for Viewers?

Unfortunately for the team, Vance isn’t thrilled about their plan to take down the mob, and we see him raising his voice in the first footage of the episode.

Vance has the weight of the world resting on his shoulders because one wrong move could make the team’s future spiral out of control.

(Robert Voets/CBS )

He has to consider everything that could go wrong, and he clearly believes that things will go wrong here.

It will be fun to see who manages to talk him into giving the mission the go-ahead because, of course, the big reward is the NCIS having the bragging rights about taking down the mob.

The photos don’t delve into much about the episode, with the few available showing the team in the field as they try to find answers about a murder.

The murder will be what drives the big decision to throw the fake nuptials, but we’re not complaining.

We want to see two of NCIS‘ finest walking down the aisle. Haters be damned!

(Robert Voets/CBS)

Over to you, NCIS Fanatics. Who do you think will tie the knot, and will it pan out the way the team wants it to?

Hit the comments with your theories!
