I had to run an errand midday today and saw, not for the first time in the past two months, a Tesla with a bumper sticker on it saying “I Bought This Before Elon Was Crazy” or something to that effect.

This got me thinking — how would any of us handle it if we had a car produced by a company in which the CEO became an extremely divisive household name? Imagine if Jim Farley or Mary Barra or Tim Kuniskis was the center of so much controversy. Would you be running out to return your Ford, GM product, or Ram?
Would it matter if you bought the car before or after they became controversial?
Of course, this isn’t just a hypothetical — some of you reading this are Tesla owners. You can speak to this first hand! So, please do.
Anyway, y’all know what to do.
Sound off below.
