The greenback is stronger on world foreign exchange markets after US Fed chair Jerome Powell spoke of extra fiscal help and introduced improved forecasts.

The shekel is weakening right now towards the greenback and strengthening towards the euro. In afternoon inter-bank buying and selling the shekel-dollar change fee is up 0.38% at NIS 3.424/$ and down 0.30% towards the euro at NIS 4.039/€.

Yesterday, the Financial institution of Israel set the shekel 0.321% down from Tuesday at NIS 3.411 /$, and the consultant shekel-euro fee was set 0.464% down at NIS 4.052/€.

The greenback is stronger on world foreign exchange markets after US Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell made dovish feedback in regards to the want for extra fiscal help and introduced improved forecasts.

Having reached its strongest towards the greenback since July 2008 on the finish of August, when the consultant fee was set at 3.353/$, the shekel has since weakened considerably as a result of rise in Covid-19 infections in Israel and the three week nationwide lockdown imposed by the federal government from tomorrow.
