The Regret of Buying a Used 2016 Subaru WRX STI

Regret is a powerful thing, and the Speed Academy guys find out the hard way after buying a 2016 Subaru WRX STI. Believing it to be a decent car and a good deal, Peter and Dave discover neither is true, as it doesn’t run and has seized brakes. Yikes. It can’t stop or go.

Entertainingly, they extract it from a snowy Subaru graveyard with a Porsche Cayenne. After trailering it back to the shop, they pull out the motor and then pull it apart, discovering it’s in pretty rough shape. The oil is so dark it looks like diesel oil.

“I’ve never seen carnage like this,” Peter wryly observes.

This is just the start, however, as the guys will figure out what’s going under the hood of this erstwhile STI in an upcoming video.
