There has been a lot of buzz around the massive incentive packages Honda has been offering for the Prologue EV, but Toyota’s bZ4X discounts are equally as aggressive. Buyers can get thousands off the price of the brand-new 2025 model, though some incentives vary depending on the location.
Toyota is offering a $10,000 lease cash incentive on the bZ4X in several areas, including New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and Denver. Some regions see a slightly lower cash offer of $7,500. Additionally, the automaker’s lease offer has a money factor of 0.00001, which is effectively zero percent. It’s good to note that both of those incentives are for the latest model year vehicle, so Toyota is offering deals on vehicles that might not even be on dealers’ lots yet. Financing deals are also available for the 2025 bZ4x, including a zero-percent loan for 72 months. Buyers get an additional $2,500 rebate when financing.
The deals get even sweeter if buyers are willing to shop for vehicles from the 2024 model year. The EV is available with up to a $16,500 lease incentive, which could mean a monthly payment of just over $200 for some trims.
Extremely sweet incentives are a great way for Toyota to move inventory, as the bZ4X isn’t a class-leading EV by any metric, especially price. It’s also ineligible for federal EV tax credits, missing out on an upfront $7,500 off the purchase price. Of course, money isn’t everything, but a big discount may give buyers a good reason to overlook the Toyota’s middling range and slow maximum charging speeds.
