This is the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T

Even the hottest performance cars have become bigger and heavier over the years, and the trend has reached the point that more basic, lightweight cars have become “special.” Porsche’s latest entry to the space takes that approach, as it’s the lightest 911 Carrera variant on sale today.

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T weighs in at just 3,316 pounds and comes exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. Its twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six comes from the standard Carrera, offering 388 horsepower and 331 pounds of torque. The potent mill can propel the car from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds in coupe form and 4.5 seconds for the cabriolet model.

The rear-drive car’s transmission uses the first six gear ratios from the 992.1 Carrera’s seven-speed gearbox, and Porsche will fit a walnut shift knob in every car. Though it’s a purist’s car, Porsche offers an auto-blip rev-match feature to help with downshifts with the available Sport Chrono package.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is standard and offers a 10mm lower stance than the regular Carrera. The 911T also gets 350mm front and rear brake discs and six-piston front calipers. Rear-axle steering is also standard, and Porsche retuned the anti-roll bars for better handling.

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T starts at $134,000 for the coupe and $147,300 for the Cabriolet. Buyers will also see a $1,995 destination charge when the car arrives on dealers’ lots in the summer of 2025.
