Used Car of the Day: 1977 Chevrolet Opala

Today we bring you a 1977 Chevrolet Opala. Yes, that’s Opala and not Impala.

This one was imported from Brazil in 2017. Underhood is a 250 cubic-inch mill and the transmission is a four-speed manual.

It has a landau top!

Other features that would’ve marked the driver as somewhat moneyed in 1977 include power windows, power front brakes, a Weber carb, 17-inch wheels, and front bucket seats.

The full model name here is a mouthful — it’s a 1977 Chevrolet Opala 4100 De Luxo Coupe. It’s on sale in Texas for $4,100 — click here for more.
