There's no doubt that today's UCOTD is a project car. This 1978 Volkswagen Rabbit will need a TON of work.

It's a diesel that hasn't been started in over a decade and it needs a full paint job — and that's just what we know and can see from the ad. It probably needs a ton more work.

It does have a sunroof and brown interior, and the seller can provide you with a features list. It also clearly has a manual transmission.
